Lawn Removal

Commonly known within the industry as a “Boxing out”. Whatever is on the ground before your lawn is installed, old dead lawn, debris or a field of weeds we will “box it out” too prepare it for fresh lawn.

There’s nothing we haven’t done before whether it’s delicately manoeuvring wheelbarrows through houses in tight new subdivisions, or loading our trucks using our fleet of skid steer loaders, we will get the job done.

Bobcat & Minor Earthworks

Earth Works is an Allwest Turfing specialty. A skill that has been past from father to son and then onto our team members.
From removing 1000 m(3) of dirt to raking out a few dead weeds, we love a challenge.

Things aren’t so simple anymore - you need to research, call around and have a think about it before you feel like you’re making the right choice.

Here at all Allwest- we want you to know we have it all under one roof. Competitive pricing, certified weed free lawn, efficient scheduling and experienced labourers. So the decision making… is a little easier (although we must admit, the variety of lawn is up to you) but we can walk you through that too.

If you would prefer DIY, we can supply you with the turf - delivered right to your address. If you’d rather the job be done and dusted, no problem - we’ll supply the grass and lay it for you. Need some earth moved and old lawn removed? we got you! We aim to make the process as smooth as possible and ensure you are provided exactly what you imagined with a quality product.

Here’s how we install:

1. Consult: We’ve had our consultation and we know the site needs prepping - lets box out!

2. Boxing out: Removing old lawn or debris and taking away the spoil

3. Level Up: We’ll begin to level the ground and flatten to prepare for grass

4. Nourish: Before we lay the grass, we improve the quality of the soil - either with a topsoil or an underlay.

5. Install: Lay the freshly harvested lawn with love and care

6. Compact: Press the roots into the soil to and eliminate any irregularities

 BOBCAT & MINOR EARTHWORKS

Getting the earthworks right from the start and completed in a timely fashion will make all the difference to your project and like we say, we have everything you do need to clear land effectively and efficiently - bobcat and earthworks is an Allwest specialty.

This can include site preparation and clean up, removal of debris, spreading sand/ soil conditioner and installation of turf.
With our highly experienced Bobcat operators, and with the aid of spotters when required, we can perform tasks to a high professional standard, meeting site specific safety requirements, and carry out difficult tasks in tight areas with no damage to the surrounding landscape.

Allwest Turfing has five (5) fully maintained and serviced Huski Bobcats in our fleet, along with trained and ticketed operators to carry out all aspects of earthworks – both North and South of the River.

LAWN REMOVAL

Whether you are remodelling your home or garden, trying something different or giving yourself second chance at taking care of grass - removing turf can be a job bigger than expected.

Commonly known within the industry as “Boxing out”. The removal of lawn can range from manoeuvring spoil from tricky locations with a shovel and spade delicately wheelbarrowing through homes or loading up trucks using a skid steer loader. Whatever the size - the spoil that is removed can amount to a huge pile! That’s where the right equipment can make a job a lot more convenient and faster.
